5 Truths about Laughter!

“Going from crying to laughing that fast and hard happens maybe five times in your life and that extreme right turn is the reason why we are alive, and I believe it extends our life by many years.”  – Amy Poehler, Yes Please

This quote is one of my favorites … ever.   If you haven’t read “Yes, Please” by Amy Poehler … run and get it!

In the meantime … this week we are talking about laughter.

How to get more of it … Why you need it … and How good it is for you!

One of the things I love about laugher is how totally contagious it is.

You know what I’m talking about … you hear or see someone else laughing so hard and then all of the sudden, and even though you may have no idea what made them laugh, you are crying laughing yourself.

It’s an amazing feeling and even more amazing to watch.

Have you seen this SNL sketch?

Omg … it’s one the best and tell me you can’t watch this and not start cracking up yourself!

Now this is what I’m talking about.   Jimmy Fallon was known for his on screen crack up’s and I loved it each and every time.

The point here … laughter.

And that’s what I’m digging into this week’s episode!
