Essentialism Part 1: Are you stretched to thin?

“Live by Design … not by default.” – Greg McKeown

So I’m going a little off the improv track today so I can bring you a book called “Essentialism” by Greg McKeown.

I’m beyond obsessed.

It’s honestly the best book I’ve read since “War of Art” by Steven Pressfield.

And let me tell you … this book is changing my life!!!!

I mean just look at the cover sleeve ———–>>>>>

Ummmmm … I don’t know about you but I said HELL YES! to every one of these as I read them.

And after the first chapter I was literally yelling at the book … YES!  OMG!  THAT’S ME!  HOW DID YOU KNOW?

It was insane how in my head this book was.

It’s like the universe sent this book to me in a perfectly wrapped bow of karma.

I so needed it.

Why?

Because I had finally hit my “overwhelmed rock bottom” and wasn’t sure where to turn.

There is so much going on this book … so many crazy light bulb moments that I thought the best way to share them all with you was in little bloggie sound bites each week.

So for the month of June … we will officially enter the “Essentialism Zone”.

A whole month dedicated to this book, the concepts and the things I think can change your life the most.

Of course I highly recommend you RUN AND GET THIS BOOK …

But I know you are slammed out of your mind and yet another book or project just isn’t in the cards right now.

So I’m brining it to you!

PS – after you read this book … you will learn to no longer be slammed out of your mind, so reading a book will actually be a possibility!

Ok let’s dig in …

I can tell you that my whole life I’ve been a NON-Essentialist and in the past 60 days have been working to re-frame my life and I’ve already seen dramatic improvements!

Better sleep, more productive, less stress, less anxiety and sheer happiness!

I’m steering the ship again and it feels oh-so-good.

So … now I’d love to hear from you:

Are you an non-essentialist? If so, what is the #1 thing you want to change?

I always love reading your comments so make sure you so “HOLLA back” in the comments below!

Also, I’d love to work with you or your company … I speak, coach and train on my Brandprov tm Framework.  So check out my speaking page right here on my website to find out how to work with me.
