Anyone that knows me … well, the over 30 Judi … knows I looooove my sleep.

I crave it. I need it. I plan for it and I adore it.  

Yet, at the same time I loathe it. Envy it sometimes and even fear it.

I know my body needs sleep like we need food to live and air to breathe.

And I know I need it if I want to play at top of my game to be healthy and thrive.

Yet, at times … I have serious FOMO with sleep! At times I feel like sleep as a time waster and get super frustrated b/c sleep doesn’t always come easy for me.  My mind is constantly racing!

I especially remember my early improv days when I’d be doing shows at midnight then getting up for work at my full time job the next day.

I was running on all cylinders and functioning like a zombie.

And I paid for it with moodiness, weight gain, bad habits and bags under my eyes.

I knew something had to give and I got serious about protecting my sleep.

  1. Thanks Judi! Awesome video. I try to sleep 8 hours a night but you have to fight for that. It’s hard!

    I am sure you have seen some of the info that Ariana Huffington has been posting about Sleep. Her content in her book Thrive is awesome!
