This episode is airing in the middle of so much turmoil here in the U.S. There is civil unrest. Political unrest. Racial indifference. And of course, we are still dealing with COVID and coming safely out of that crisis.
I’ve been feeling pretty helpless lately and if I’m feeling it I bet you are too.
I’m specifically jacked up around what’s happening in the world racially. So, when I was thinking about airing an episode for you today it felt totally jaded to not discuss what’s going on and share with you how I’m helping, dealing, and staying hopeful in a time that can feel helpless.
Disclaimer: I’m a white girl. Which means I can’t even pretend to understand what Fear Bosses of Color deal with on a daily basis. But what I can do is help. I can disarm fear with action. And I can lean into my purpose which is to help you see fear differently and lord knows we need brave fear bosses out in the world right now more than ever.
So, these are my opinions and my opinions only. And I get it wrong. A lot. But one thing is for sure … I lead with love. And I most certainly don’t allow fear to make my decisions for me. Neither should you. This episode will share ideas and inspiration to help you stay brave and lead with love in a time that is full of fear.
