Everyday Improviser

Think like a CEO & Take More Confident Action

The CEO mindset will build confidence in individuals and teams, so they can turn obstacles into opportunities and remain flexible despite disruption.

"We’ve hired Judi on four different occasions, and each time I hear her speak, I gain something new from each of her presentations. Her work on courage is relevant and relatable, which always encourages our team members to take action both personally AND professionally."

- Trina Scott, Quicken Loans, VP of Diversity and Inclusion

Summary

Throughout history, a common misconception about improvisational theater is that improvisers simply "wing it." However, the reality is far from that. Effective improvisation requires preparation and the adoption of a CEO mindset, empowering improvisers to think on their feet and make confident decisions in uncertain situations, all without a script.

Rather than fearing the unknown, improvisation recognizes the value of fear and failure as data streams that can guide innovation, build confidence, and foster true collaboration. Unfortunately, many of us remain trapped in our comfort zones, unable to take risks, and ultimately miss opportunities because of that choice.

This interactive keynote is designed to help participants use the experimental ideas from the improv theatre and apply them to the unscripted stage of everyday life so they can take more confident action.

Participants will take away the following:

  • Better collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Tools to feel more confident taking risks
  • The ability to stay agile in the ever-changing world and work environment
  • A CEO mindset that will elevate performance and get results

Judi’s work is always collaborative and interactive. This keynote builds off the big ideas in Judi’s best-selling book, Fear is My Homeboy®.
