There are so many items I use every day that make my life so much sweeter, my travel so much easier, and my life all around happier.
So, I’ve put all my favorite 2018 game changers into a list just for YOU.

In no order of preference, here are the 20 things I fell in love with this year:
- Louis Vuitton Phone Folio – This little splurge has become my go-to phone case when I travel. I love that it keeps my ID / credit cards close for easy access. I also love that it has a pocket for cash and biz cards, plus, the fold over design keeps my business private from my seat neighbor on any flight. It’s easy to pop on / off and the fact that it comes with an option for a touch of color inside (fuchsia!) makes me so happy. When I’m not traveling I use something more every day durable, yet this bad boy makes me so damn happy.
- Honest Beauty Makeup – OMG! I’ve become obsessed with this line of makeup. All of it … the foundation, luminizing powder, lip crayons, shadows, and brushes. This makeup not only keeps my face feeling dewy and fresh, it STAYS on. I watched Jessica Alba do a makeup tutorial on Instagram and was sold. Plus, the fact that it’s made with no harsh chemicals … total bonus. Oh, let’s not forget the Honest Bubble bath which is also a major favorite of mine + the travel wipes are always in my travel bag!!!
- Furterer Texture Spray – This entire line has me hooked. Especially the texture spray which adds the perfect amount of grip to your hair when styling! Where has this been my whole life? I even found some travel size options on Amazon so I don’t have to be without it on the road.
- Serenity Essential Oil by Doterra – I pretty much don’t go anywhere without this oil and it’s become one of my nightly rituals. I love the smell and how it instantly reminds me that it’s time to wind my mind down. So good!
- India Hicks Legacy Letter Necklace – One of my besties told me about this over the summer and I immediately had to have one! She was wearing two necklaces, one with each of her kids first initials, and they looked so chic and so unique. Plus, they layer perfectly if you want to wear more than one … or pair it with another necklace.
- Talika Eye Patches – As a professional speaker who spends most her time on a plane, or on a stage, puffy tired eyes are something I try to avoid at all costs. Especially when I hit a heavy travel season. Besides drinking lots of water and getting good sleep, I’ve been looking for a badass acute eye care option for quite a while. Then, one of my Peloton Instructors (Jennifer Jacobs) kept raving about these eye patches and I finally took a look. After learning more, I was sold. And I have to say, they are AH-mazing and have quickly become a travel / big event essential.
- O Magazine Subscription – I forgot how much I loved getting happy magazine mail until I signed up for O earlier this year on a whim. I used to pick it up in the airports from time to time and always loved how I felt while reading it. Now, that dose of happy comes right to my mailbox every month. There is so much trash on TV, in the news, and in most magazines on the stands … it’s refreshing and healthy to read something that keeps it positive. I like to think what I put into my mind is what will come out … this is a badass way to keep it positive plus learn all kinds of fun stuff!
- Tumi Travel Bag – Since I live on the road I’m always looking for chic things to make life easier. This little beauty is a favorite. I love how it hangs, dig all the compartments, and if it’s a heavy travel month I can leave it up in my home bathroom without even unpacking it so it’s ready to rock for the next trip.
- R+F Radiant Defense – HELL YES! This product is incredible. It’s like a primer … on steroids! They call it “perfecting liquid” and rightfully so. The first time I used it I legit just stared at my skin. Couldn’t believe it. I wear this before putting on my powder/foundation PLUS you can even wear it alone for a little daytime coverage when you don’t want/need full makeup. Find your favorite R+F consultant and get you some!
- Ray Ban Blaze Clubmaster Sunnies – Ok, anyone that knows me knows I’m obsessed with sunnies. And these have been my fave so far this year! I love the mirrored look and they come in a few different colors, so you can pick your vibe.
- Ugg Blanche II Robe – I mean … who doesn’t love a good cozy robe! I found this beauty at a spa while traveling for work this summer and immediately put it on MY Christmas wish list. Love!!!
- Custom Adidas Mi Campus Shoe – GUYS!!! These are insane. I just had a custom pair made that are of course fuchsia and say #FearBOSS on the inside. So, every time I put them on I remember I’m the boss NOT fear. You can customize with your name, favorite saying, or mantra reminding you to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
- Ink + Volt Gratitude Journal – Anyone that knows me knows I’m obsessed with the VOLT planner by Ink + Volt, so that is ALWAYS a perfect gift … yet, bonus, they came out with a cute little gratitude journal this year and I’m loving it. The perfect gift for any friend or client. Fun idea – write why you are grateful for the person you are gifting it to on the first page, then share the love.
- VS Satin Boxer PJ – How cute are these?! These silky jammies are the perfect way to feel cute + comfy while snoozing in style.
- Loft Vintage Soft Pocket T’s – I pretty much live in these. I always joke that I have a “travel uniform” … the same 4-5 things I always wear when I travel because they are easy, comfy and flexible. This is definitely one of them. So cozy, flattering, lots of colors, and it layers perfectly so you can dress it up or down.
- Talbots Leopard Driving Moccasins – I’m obsessed with all things leopard print and this shoe is no exception. So chic, comfy, and the perfect way to add a pop of leopard to your look. Oh and bonus, they come in a cute wedge too!
- Talbots Pom Pom Hat – I love me a good hat! This Pom Pom is SO adorable and a new favorite winter staple. Plus, it comes in the most perfect fuchsia color, so I had to buy it. There are tons of colors to pick from so pick your power color and add this one to your wish list!
- Restore by Kevin Murphy – This is my new secret weapon in between shampoo days. For most of us with longer, medium-thick hair, we can’t wash every day … it will dry you out + strip the color you spend good money on. Yet, sometimes you just can’t wait 3 days between washings because your workout routine has you sweating like a boss. So, my hairdresser told me about this magical product and I’m loving it. It’s your new BFF in between washing your hair for when you don’t want the full shampoo / conditioner vibe yet need a good refresh. Love this product! This always goes on the road with me.
- Gold Straws – This homegirl loves a good straw! Yet, these days they are hard to come by. So, if you want to save the planet or want to simply have a straw handy since they are hard to come by now, these are your ticket. Put them in your travel bag or carry in your purse. My hubby recently got a really badass set of gold straws from a client and I thought that was such a cool gift. We use them all the time!
